Error adding an IP address in ispmanager 6 business
Symptoms
When attempting to add an IP address in the ispmanager 6 business panel, the following error message is displayed:
"Error assigning IPv4 address. The 'node1 (10.10.10.1)' cluster node cannot manage IPv4 addresses".
At the same time, the following error is registered in the panel log:
ERROR Error: Type: 'ipmanage' Object: 'ipv4' Value: 'node1 (10.10.10.1)'
Causes
The server network interface does not contain any IP addresses from the subnet that includes the IP address you are trying to add.
Solution
In order to add an IP address to the panel from a different subnet, it is first necessary to add an IP address from that subnet to the network interface on the server.
The panel is configured to search for IP addresses in the network interface specified for the DefaultInterface
directive in the panel configuration file at /usr/local/mgr5/etc/ispmgrnode.conf
.
If the panel configuration file has been modified, it is necessary to restart the panel using the following command:
killall core
