What ispmanager users can expect in 2025 and how 2024 went
Ispmanager product manager Maria Kuzmina has told us all about the plans for 2025. She also went over how 2024 went — how much of our plans for the year were achieved.
Let's get it done in 2025
Migrating from cPanel, Plesk, or ispmanager business with rsync
. This method is more convenient than migration with a backup — there are lower requirements for free disk space and up-to-date data is always transferred.
Support for LiteSpeed. This web server is incredibly popular so naturally we’re adding support for it to ensure maximum performance for high-load, dynamic projects.
Tight integration with WordPress, the world's most popular CMS. We want to make it easy for our users to use it, so we’ve:
- Added a simple installation where the user can focus on choosing a template, and not think about the PHP versions or mode.
- Made it so you can perform routine actions such as updating the CMS or cloning the site right from the control panel.
Resource consumption monitoring. We added the ability to receive notifications about a high load on server resources in Telegram.
We updated the ispmanager interface design — we are bringing the interface into compliance with the WCAG web content accessibility standard and making it adaptive for mobile devices.
Developments in ispmanager host:
- Adjustable limits on each user’s server resource consumption.
- The ability to provide users with technical domains for the site.
- Statistics on resource consumption per user.
Support for Ubuntu 24 — January 2025.
Free WAF based on mod_security
— to be released in Q1 2025.
