Let's talk about the annual meeting of AbraCloud, the Brazilian association of infrastructure and cloud services

In October, we attended the annual meeting of AbraCloud, the Brazilian association of infrastructure and cloud services.

AbraCloud brings together the 50 largest players in the Brazilian hosting market, accounting for 35% of the total market. Ispmanager joined the association in August this year.

Ispmanager was described by our Brazilian representative, Andre Tellini. Here's what he focused on when he presented ispmanager to the Brazilian hosting providers of AbraCloud.

Why Brazil

We decided to expand outside of Europe because we have found that we can compete with the best control panels, and Brazil is a promising and fast-growing market.

Brazil boasts almost 90 million IP addresses. It is the ninth-largest domain zone in the world. São Paulo is the largest data center in Latin America.

Moreover, we have found that Brazilians are pleasant people and a joy to interact and collaborate with.

How ispmanager helps you grow your business

We studied the websites of several hosting providers that are Abracloud members and found that the most popular VPS configurations usually include around 2 GB RAM, 3 cores, and a 30 GB SSD. The average price of such a VPS is around R$67. However, the retail price of a cPanel admin license is R$167 and a Plesk Web Admin license is around R$80.

Hosting providers and their customers don’t always see this price disparity as fair. Many don’t see why they should pay more for a control panel than for their server; they want a more affordable solution.

Ispmanager is not trying to replace cPanel or Plesk, but striving to provide a cost-effective alternative. Our solution is in the median price segment, helping hosting providers retain their existing customers and attract new ones by lowering the barrier to entry.

This means hosting providers will have more opportunities to increase the number of customers buying control panels off them and thereby increase their own revenue — our partners receive up to 60% of the revenue from each ispmanager license sold.

Ispmanager’s key priorities 

A stable and fault-tolerant product. ispmanager utilizes a separate web server and database management system (DBMS). This ensures that users can always access the dashboard, even if their website is down.

We never push users to buy additional software — everything they need is available right out of the box.

Twice-monthly updates and an open roadmap. We update the dashboard twice a month, adding new features and improvements. Our users can contribute to our roadmap by submitting feature requests. The voices of our larger partners carry the most weight. Our roadmap is publicly available and we keep our users informed of any changes.

Security. Ispmanager’s closed-source C++ code ensures its security and reliability.

Technical Support. Our support is available 24/7. As we expand our partnerships in Brazil, we will start to offer support in Portuguese. For now, it's all in English.

We provide two support lines and respond to requests within 15 minutes. We are proud to say that 95% of our customers leave positive feedback. Moreover, our support team can either help with the process of migrating from another control panel or, for a fee, take over the entire migration process for our customers.

Partner Program

Our main partners are hosting providers and our goal is to help promote their hosting services along with our product to generate additional revenue together. There are many hosting providers with whom we have been partnering for decades, like FirstVDS and eApps. Some, like PQ Hosting and Rusonyx, have become legendary for their rapid growth.

✓ Tailored cooperation scenarios. For us, each partner is unique and we are open to discussing different cooperation scenarios.

✓ Marketing support. We are ready to invest in marketing initiatives that will help attract new customers to your services through our panel. These may include promotions, advertising, webinars, and other events.

✓ Training. We'll help with onboarding for your team and answer any questions or concerns that arise. Moreover, we will create a working group of technical experts from both sides to ensure that the integration process goes smoothly. After integration, partner support requests are prioritized and processed by a dedicated team.
