From September 1st, the Dr.Web module will no longer be available in ispmanager. So what should you do if you've been using it

The Dr.Web module did not enjoy sufficient demand from ispmanager's clients so together with the vendor, we have decided to conclude our relationship. As of August 1st, ispmanager will stop selling Dr.Web.

Instead, ispmanager is offering a refund or the BitNinja server security platform for free, which protects against SQL injections, outgoing spam attacks, cross-site scripting, viruses, and multiple connections.

What should users of Dr.Web in ispmanager do if their Dr.Web license expires after September 1, 2024

Write to help@ispmanager.com and choose one of two options:

→ Get the BitNinja module for free.

The BitNinja license is more expensive than that for Dr.Web, but no additional payment is required. The validity period of the BitNinja license will be equal to the remaining period of your Dr.Web license at the time of application. This offer is valid until October 1, 2024.

BitNinja is more than an antivirus program. The platform can:

• Protect against malware and viruses.
• Block SQL and XSS injections in CMS and on the server.
• Check IP addresses against 5 blacklists, consisting of millions of records.
• Identify the real IP addresses behind attacks and avoid blocking real users.
• Prevent spam attacks using forms on the website.
• Detect DoS attacks at the application level.

Important: BitNinja requires 1 GB of free RAM to run.

→ Get a refund for the unused period of your Dr.Web license.

The refund amount will be calculated as of the moment of application.

What's going to happen next:

On August 1st, the ability to renew and purchase Dr.Web licenses will be disabled. In one of the upcoming releases, the module will become unavailable for installation. On September 1st, any currently installed module will stop scanning the system for viruses and sending files to quarantine.

BitNinja will provide protection from September 1st if the request for replacement is sent before September 1st. Otherwise, it will come into effect from the date of application if the request is sent later. This offer is valid until October 1, 2024.

As for the refund for the unused period of Dr.Web, the amount will be calculated from September 1st if the request is sent before September 1st. Otherwise, it will be calculated from the date of application if the request is sent later.
