Currently, ispmanager and sites hosted on it only require 1 GB of RAM. Plus, ispmanager host has new and enhanced IP address management

Starting from October 30th, ispmanager host users can allocate, assign, and limit IP addresses. Additionally, ispmanager lite, pro, and host can be installed on a low-resource server with a minimal software package. Before, such installations tended to experience errors that brought sites down.

The enhanced IP address management feature in the host version now enables hosting providers to distribute, assign, and limit IP addresses among users, allowing for better workload distribution and the sale of dedicated IPs.

This update was rolled out with the 6.109 beta release.

The minimum required RAM has been reduced from 2 GB to 1 GB, making it easier to run on low-spec servers. If you install the recommended version of ispmanager on a server with 1 GB of RAM, it will automatically load a streamlined software set: Nginx, PHP-FPM Fast CGI, a DNS server, an FTP server, and the MySQL database server.

This change came with the 6.108 beta release.

We’d like to note that running ispmanager on a server with 1 GB of RAM may cause issues with more demanding operating systems. For example, AlmaLinux 8 and 9 require at least 1.5 GB of RAM to ensure stable panel performance.

After installing ispmanager on a server with 1 GB of RAM, you’ll see a notification: "The server is critically low on memory — 1 GB or less. A minimal software package has been installed. For stable operation of services and sites, we recommend increasing memory to at least 2 GB."
