ispmanager provides solutions for large shared hosts with thousands of sites and users. System upgrades, package configuration, templating, and statistics can all be set up once in one place.
The ispmanager control panel helps to administer projects of any complexity. The lite, pro, and host versions support a wide range of functions and operating systems. The business version includes only those functions that run stably on scalable infrastructure with several servers. This is partly due to the limited choice of OSs.
Important: business, lite, pro, and host versions not only entail different tariffs, but represent entirely different panel architecture, so it isn’t realistic to migrate from one to another.
For shared hosting, host and business are suitable as they support an infinite number of sites. The choice depends on the specific needs of your project. For example, we now offer a business license including 139,000 sites on 15 servers. In contrast, according to our data, ispmanager host has been used for no more than a thousand sites on one server.

The activation key will be sent in the license activation letter, and it is also available in the license editing form in your personal account. To find it, go to "Licenses → ispmanager licenses" and click the "Edit" button. In the "License key" field, you will see the activation key. If you need to re-generate an existing key, click "Generate new key," Please note: you must have a verified e-mail address to receive e-mails and make purchases!
You can change the address in your personal billing account by going to "Licenses → ispmanager licenses." Highlight the license you need and click the "Change" icon. In the form that opens, find the IP address field and edit as needed. The address can be changed no more than once a month. If you need to change it sooner, please contact us at the support center via your personal account. The recommended parameter for automatic license activation is the IP address of the license. Manual license activation will also bind the server IP address.
You can manage multiple servers with a single license. As your business scales and your number of servers increases, all you need to do is connect additional nodes to your license. To do so, go to "Products/Services" → "Licenses" in your BILLmanager personal account, select a license, click the "Change" button, and set a number in the "Number of servers" field.
It is technically impossible to migrate a server from ispmanager lite to ispmanager business or vice versa automatically and without downtime for the sites installed. However, you can migrate your data by making backups and deploying everything again. However, we are currently working on a tool for automatically switching releases.
To change your tariff, you have to change your license type. In your personal account, go to "Licenses → ispmanager Licenses," select a license, and click the "Change tariff" button. In the form that appears, select a new license type and save the changes. The license validity period will be reduced in proportion to the price difference.
